No wonder, Pinoy bands are incredibly popular nowadays. What makes them popular? Well, their main targets are the youths, and youths hold significant number of population in the Philippines. Their songs would usually reflect the kind of life that the youths have today—their songs would appeal to their interests, thus these can definitely capture a large portion of their population.

It might also be that, the characters that they exhibit are really unique and one-of-a-kind. They have styles which are exclusive only to their groups. Well, with the large number of Pinoy artists nowadays, it is still much better if you think of some techniques which are not yet done by the rest of the groups.

Of course, with the help of the media today, for instance Facebook which is one of the most popular social networking sites today, Pinoy bands became extremely popular. On FB, they can be added by their fans, and there the audience will be informed of their latest gigs, concerts, competitions, and the likes.

All Filipino families love pinoy banda.

Forming a Pinoy band today seems quite difficult. Why? Well, because of the number of aspiring bands, it is really hard to penetrate the mainstream. Your band should exude a certain character which will surely be loved by many people so you will be on the rise. It seems quite impossible, but if you really have the dream, you will do and give all your best shots to reach for it.

What your band should do is to determine your niche and your songs which can really be appealing in the Filipino market. You should also create a character for your band which can differentiate you from the roster of rising bands today. For instance, you may add local color into your songs so it will look unique and enticing to your audience. Your costumes in your every performance also matter for you to be recognized by the large audience.

Other Pinoy bands’ technique is to join in various talent competitions. This is one good technique in penetrating the world of radio and television.

It is really great if you follow an album tour blog especially if there are certain bands or singers that you really idolize. By following these blogs, you will be able to get updates about their gigs as well as the places where they are going. When you are near the place where they will do the tour, you might book a ticket right away. If there are no tickets, you might also get seat reservations from the organizers.

Fanatics will really do everything just to follow their idols. Thus, if you can relate to this, take advantage of an album tour blog. Some other fanatics might content to just seeing their favorites over the TV or net. Yet, if you do follow these blogs, you will be able to get an update about their whereabouts. Who knows? They might have their next tour in your own city or in a place near you. You will really make the other fans so envious of you. When all these times, they are just relying on TV, here you are, taking pictures with them.

With the number of Pinoy bands these days, you might say that it is more or less impossible to form one. Well, this is a big myth. The truth here is that despite the number of Pinoy bands that are already popular, it is still possible to be on the rise. There are a few bands that have just emerged a few months back. This means that if you have found your own niche and your songs will have a huge appeal in the Filipino market, it will then be easier for you and your band to penetrate. Other Pinoy bands also started from nothing. They were just invited to sing in local bars and small gigs. However, eventually, since many people loved their performances, they were invited to do bigger shows, until they have finally penetrated the television and radio.

This is how things usually start for popular Pinoy bands. They used to be ignored, but eventually, with their ability to really push through, they made it!

If you have noticed it, Pinoy bands are really on the rise. Despite the fact that there are a lot of other genres becoming popular these days, Pinoy bands are seemingly indispensable. More than that, its appeal to the youth is so incredible. Thus, these bands will forever be popular. Back then, Pinoy bands were already around. Their popularity also appeals to the youth. However, this time around, due to the number of bands present, they differ when it comes to their niche. Some bands focus on singing rock songs. Some others would go for sentimental and love songs. There are also bands focusing on raps. This is basically how they maintain their appearance in the show business.

Well, any of these categories has its own market from the Filipinos. Thus, the next time you are to see these bands, you must no longer wonder why they are so popular. They simply caught the attention of the youth of different ages!

“So here we go – IT’S OFFICIAL – THE BAND – IT’S OVER.”

Bamboo Mañalac declared on his Message from Bamboo that the band has officially broken up. Bamboo was founded in 2002, and is the band behind hit songs such as ‘Noypi,’ ‘Halleluja,’ and ‘Tatsulok’. Bamboo Mañalac was the former vocalist of Rivermaya.

Bamboo noted on his statement that “things change.”

“As a group we’ve come to a point where you have to trust your gut, your heart and your head and accept that all things change. The hardest part as always is to know when to pack it up and part ways.”

“We’ve learned that this journey is not only about us but includes all who came along for the trip. Family, friends and of course front row believers who were there for the best reason of all. To simply listen. So it didn’t come easy winding down to this decision,” it continued.

“This is not the end,” assured Mañalac. “We move forward for all the right reasons. This is not a sad day. Music will forever be part of our lives and I couldn’t imagine us simply walking away. Not possible. All I see are possibilities.”

Bamboo added “A chapter closes and a new one begins. So what happens next? I don’t know. 2011 and I readily look forward to tomorrow’s ‘I don’t knows’ and hiccups. So ‘here we go’ a new page,” before proceeding to express gratitude on behalf of the band.

Bamboo thanked all their “friends, fans, supporters and Believers,” as well as to their “few brave producers out there” and their “business partners throughout the years,” which includes music distributors EMI and PolyEast Records.

Bamboo ended his message with “This is not goodbye”
