Eraserheads Reunion Concert

You probably heard the buzz and news about the upcoming Eraserheads one night reunion concert don’t you? Yeah, sure you have, it’s all over the internet.

You’ve probably wondering why Pinoybanda.com have not even released any news about it considering that it is what this website is suppose to inform its readers – the pinoy bands news.

Well, I just want to be 100% sure about all the facts that will be published here, hence the delay. Even as of this writing, believe or not, there facts about the Eraserheads concert is still a blur and not 100% correct. (The ‘Sponsor’ of the event has not even surfaced yet). Even the concert ticket that is being circulated in the blog world apparently is not the official one and rumor has it that the original date of release of all the flyers and info material (including the tickets etc) is today, August 1, 2008.

But since everyone is asking about it and searching for information, we’ll post those that are most certainly true.

What:
The Eraserheads (Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan) will be performing for one night together. A one night reunion concert if you will

When:
August 30, 2008

Where:
CCP Open Grounds

There info came from Ely Buendia himself from one of the News interview he did on GMA 7.

    somebody from Marlboro promissed me that he will give me one… so one thing for sure marlboro is the sponsor but im still waiting for his response if the ticket circulating in some blog posts is authentic

    until now there are no news about the tickets. i’ve been gogling almost everyday on how to get the tickets and after almost a month i guess, still no luck. even marlboro employees are not sure on how to get tickets. well if their main concern is crowd control, it’s best to sell the tickets. don’t you think?

    bago na ung sponsor ng eheads reunion concert. so tuloy na tuloy! hindi na libre. you can buy tickets in ticket world outlets! medyo mahal pero sulit. 800+ at 1300+ :) or mag-order sa website ng ticketworld . see you there :)

    It’s all about the money nowadays, prior to the reunion concert, remember that ely buendia is rumored to have been offered P10M! pero P4M lang pala to be exact, as what the marlboro guy told sa goodtimes with mo & .. sa magic 89.9.

    Sobra akong naexcite when i heard the news of a free reunion concert. i even registered sa red list ng marlboro kahit di talaga ako smoker. dat’s how desperate i am seeing eheads together again live.

    pero wat hapend? tama lang naman ang doh kung tutuusin. sumikat pa tuloy tayo sa washington bcoz of the news re sponsorship ng cigarette factory sa beatles of the philippines concert (ito ngang eheads).

    at that price!!! P1300!? for sure di pumayag c ely na hindi maibigay sa kanya what is due to him! kaya ang siningil, yung mga atat na fans!

    parang caltex, shell at petron, yung burden ng pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina pinapasa sa end-users without affecting their income.

    that’s how the world goes…

    sabi nga ni alicia keys, who strongly refused from a cigarette sponsorhip concert in indonesia…

    hi, im worried until now about ely buendia, even though he is in stable condition already.
    pero, im happy kasi kahit na-shortcut yung reunion concert at least, nakita ko ulit silang magkakasama.
