Why Itchyworms?
According to Jugs himself, the band was called Itchyworms because Scorpions, The Beatles and the Crickets are taken, so they chose Itchyworms.
Besides, all of the band’s members collects insects believe it or not. Jazz has a collection of scorpions, Chino has different kinds of beetles, Jugs has crickes and Kelvin…. worms!
Itchyworm’s Sounds?
Mostly Pinoy Rock. Itchyworms is one of the best Filipino Rock Band. Though they have cute, kilig love songs.
Band History
The band started as school buddies in Ateneo. The band came out at a time when furious and tuneless rap-metal was on the verge of breaking into the local rock radio. In the midst of all the cacophonous aggression, the Itchyworms wrote and performed catchy music with actual melodies. The band’s arrangements displayed a certain depth and complexity that would make the most fickle musician take notice. Read more….
