Pupil To Launch Their Newest CD - Wildlife!!

What: Launching of Pupil’s New CD - Wildlife
When: November 9, 2007
Where: Eastwood Central Plaza
The grand launch is presented by Red Horse Extra Strong Beer, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Information Gateway and Animax as a treat to fans who supported the band all the way.
After a rigorous and very successful nationwide campaign for their debut album Beautiful Machines, Pupil returns to the scene with their
much-awaited follow-up album, Wildlife, and is ready to supercharge listeners and audiences hungry for the newest, freshest rock sound to
hit the country today.
With its carrier single, “Sala” already burning up the country’s rock music charts for weeks even before the September release date, Wildlife is definitely set to revolutionize the OPM scene and turn it upside-down and inside-out.
For this all-original 12-track stunner, Ely Buendia (vocals, guitars), Yan Yuzon (guitars, vocals), Dok Sergio (bass, vocals) and brand new drummer Wendell Garcia acquired the much sought-after services of producer Jerome Velasco (also of The Teeth, The Mongols, Daydream Cycle) to create a fresh, global sound for OPM rock. The monstrous result is one of the most gargantuan sounding rock records
in Philippine music history.
Other sure-fire hits are also in tow, such as “Monobloc,” “Talon,” “Sumasabay” and fan-fave “Disconnection Notice.” It also features the eagerly anticipated release of “Set MeApart,” which international cable TV animation giant Animax adopted as its theme song, thereby flying Pupil’s music out to broader international music markets in Southeast Asia via a killer video filmed in Manila, animated in Malaysia, and aired from Singapore.
Expect Pupil’s Wildlife not just to make its own presence felt, but further, to be the mold for the shape of things to come in local rock
music.
