<S> Marks the Spot On February 2008!
Raimund and the rest of Sandwich is cooking up a special treat for all the fans of the band! Sandwich’s much-awaited fifth album (and 10th anniversary offering) is coming out in 2008!
They have just finished recording their new album, and are now in the process of mastering the recorded materials. Coinciding with the band’s fifth album is their 10th anniversary! Yes, it has been that long since we first heard the powerful group.
The new songs “Manila”, “Candelaria”, “Text in the City”, and the crowd favorites “Procrastinator” and “Betamax” which are frequent numbers whenever Sandwich has gigs are all included in the new album.
<S> Marks the Spot is the new CD and it will be out in February 2008 and is still under EMI Music Philippines
The album is produced by famed producer and seasoned musician Buddy Zabala, together with Sandwich, and is engineered by Shinji Tanaka of Sound Creation Studios.
The first single off the album is “Procrastinator”. Do watch out for it as it gets released on radio this January. Its video will be directed by Quark Henares, so watch out for that too!
Most importantly, watch out for the release of their new album in February. There are indeed a lot of surprises in store for all Sandwich fans and loyal supporters. <S> definitely marks the spot in 2008!
