Callalily’s Grand Fans’ Day SM North EDSA

As a gratitude for their supporters they call “Callalistas,” Callalily will hold their Grand Fans Day on Sunday, February 28, 5pm at SM North EDSA Entertainment Plaza. This event presented by Sony Music Entertainment will have Kean and his co-members Alden Acosta (guitars), Tatsi Jamnague (rhythm guitars), Aaron Ricafrente (bass) and Lemuel Balaro (drums) get up close and personal with the fans.

Expect an afternoon of surprises as the band dishes out songs from their past albums and their current album. Just bring a copy of their album or buy their album at the venue to gain entry to the event. Callalily Grand Fans Day is presented in cooperation with PLDT myDSL. Their self-titled third album is still out in CDs under Sony Music. To download Callalily’s ringback tones, truetones, full track music from the album, just text SONY to 3456.

‘Sony Ericsson Music Tripping’ Presents Callalily

Callalily will be having a series of shows showcasing Sony Ericsson’s latest program for their Walkman phones – Sony Ericsson Music Tripping

Pocholo Concepcion of Philippine Daily Inquirer recently wrote an article about it (Manila Times also has a similar story) and we’re just going to re-broadcast it here for our dear loyal subscriber and Callalily fans.

“Sony Ericsson Music Tripping,” features Callalily on May 3 at Club Paraw in Boracay. Succeeding gigs are on May 17, 31 and June 7 (all set at Beachcomber, also in Boracay) with Cueshe and Moonstar 88.

The May 3 concert marks the launch of “Eto Na Ang Summer,” the event theme song that Sony Ericsson had asked Callalily to record.

So, if you’re somewhere near Bora during those dates, you don’t want to miss Callalily performs!

(Hey, now it’s Itchyworms for Moto and Callalily for SE right?… These mobile phone companies sure knows how to get the attention of the teens!)

In just two years, the band has released a highly successfull album, has had five chart-topping singles, has a sophomore album in the works and a legion of extremely loyal (and sometimes hysterical) fans that has helped the band to become one of the most popular bands locally.

So popular, that they’ve become the most requested artist to be on the cover os MYX Mag. Indeed 2007 has been good for kean. Tatsi janbague (guitars), Aaron Ricafrente (bass) alden acosta (guitars) and lemuel belaro (drums)

The band shows no sign of stopping. As of this interview, the band is currently working on their follow-up to 2006′s Destintion XYZ. This second album is set to be released in early 2008.
