Eraserheads Reunion Concert… The Movie, In Theaters!
Yes, yes, I was one of the millions who WAS NOT able to watch the Eraserheads last August 30′s reunion concert because of work and other stuff.. But when I heard that there will be a DVD coming out this December of that event I was sure to heaven that I’m going to buy one!
But now, I just found out from Ricky Lo, Philstar.com, that the Eraserheads Reunion Concert will be shown in theaters starting November 26, 2008!
Now am I going to go out and see this movie?! You bet you ass I will :)

The phenomenal August 30, 2008 one-night only Eraserheads concert, abrupt as it was, is now included in our musical history.

Eraserheads Concert Cut Short, Ely Buendia Rushed To Hospital
The much anticipated Eraserheads Reunion concert (and the probably the biggest musical even of the year) was cut short last night when band front man, Ely Buendia, collapsed and rushed to the hospital after their first half of the show, during their 20-minute break.
Ely Buendia’s sister, Lally who went onstage with Ely’s band mates Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and concert organizers stating that the band’s lead vocalist and songwriter was in poor health.
An update of Ely’s condition was reported at ABC-CBN news, saying that Ely was transferred to the Philippine Heart Center today (sunday, August 31) around 10:00am
Let us all pray and come together for Ely Buendia’s recovery.

Eraserheads One Night Reunion Concert UPDATE!
There have been a lot of buzz and issues regarding the One Night Only reunion concert of the Eraserheads, but the good news is at the end the Philippines’ Fab Four will be performing definitely on August 30, 2008 at The Fort Global City.
Here are the things that happened during what felt like an eternity of preparation:
- Eraserheads members met up and rehearse for the first time
- August 13, The Venue for the concert will be on The Fort Open Ground and no longer on CCP, as previously reported… the official ‘tickets’ for the event though, we still have no news.
- August 21 post, Eraserheads did their second rehearsal!
- August 22 post, Eraserheads Concert CANCELLED?! Damn!
- August 25 post, Eraserheads concert, tuloy na tuloy na! Di na nga lang free, pero ayus pa rin!
